Salmon Heaven Lodge is our premier lodging. Salmon Heaven is a clean, spacious and comfortable Lodge located in Altmar, walking distance of the world-class fly-fishing stretch of the Salmon River. Salmon Heaven provides a genuinely home-away-from-home atmosphere. You will be greeted with lots of warm and friendly hospitality. Salmon Heaven includes six rooms, one efficiency unit and a 2005 full facilities camper, all are equipped with private bath and TV with Dish satellite. The Lodge Room offers large-screen TV, wireless Internet and comfortable furnishings. A Hot beverage stands ready for guests to relax and share a fisherman’s story or two. During the chilly months we offer Brenda's homemade chili or soups to help warm you up. Every morning we provide a large spread of breakfast items.
 
We also have lodging at SRO. At SRO you have a choice of an apartment with full kitchen. living room, small eatery and four beds or a spacious room with four beds with a great view of the Lower Fly Section of the Salmon River. Both are located at SRO directly on the Salmon River. Between SRO and Salmon Heaven we provide accommodations for up to 40 people. You may stroll out of bed and walk downstairs for a hot breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Salmon River cafe. We have all the tackle supplies you will ever need right there and you can walk to several of your favorite Salmon River fishing spots! Both rooms have been refurbished!
 
The Salmon River is the premier Salmon and Steelhead fishery east of the Rocky Mountains. Oswego County is famous for its rich history, festivals, Lake Ontario recreation, and for its superb snowmobiling and ATV trails. Both SRO and the lodge have direct snowmobile and ATV trail access onto a network of groomed and marked trails that go for hundreds of miles. Just 100 yards away, is the State Fish Hatchery. We are located with-in a 30 mile radius of Lake Ontario, the Redfield Reservoir, Oneida Lake, and sit within minutes of thousands of acres of prime hunting grounds on local state park land. Also, just minutes away, are excellent restaurants, golf, sailing, X-country skiing, and hiking trails. At the tackle shop will keep fishermen up to the moment with the hottest tackle and a place to buy their fishing licenses.
